The Maison
Surrounded by orchards, open skies, and quiet.
La Maison Pomme rests quietly in the heart of Normandy’s Pays d’Auge, where apple orchards stretch toward the horizon and the land rolls gently into the Dives Valley. This beautifully restored 18th-century farmhouse feels less like a place we've reserved and more like a home that’s been waiting for us.
Mornings begin with soft light and the calm rhythm of the countryside. The kitchen opens naturally into the dining space, inviting long breakfasts and conversations that linger. Throughout the house, you’ll find a thoughtful balance of shared gathering spaces and peaceful corners (think cozy sitting rooms, sunlit windows, and bedrooms designed for deep rest).
Outside, life slows even further. A south-facing terrace overlooks open fields and sweeping valley views, perfect for journaling, afternoon wine, or simply watching the light change. In warmer months, the heated outdoor pool becomes a natural gathering place, while a covered seating area keeps you connected to the landscape in any weather.
Just minutes away is Beuvron-en-Auge, officially named one of France’s most beautiful villages. During our retreat, we’ll also explore the Norman coast, with Cabourg, Deauville, and Honfleur all an easy drive from the house, alongside cider routes, through historic towns, and the quiet woodland paths that shape this region.
Surrounded by orchards and nearby grazing cows and horses, Maison Pomme is deeply rooted in the countryside. It’s a place made for slowing down. Here we'll spend our week sharing meals with new friends, enjoying the solitude of quiet mornings, and moments of connection that stay with you long after you leave.
