Last Updated: January 9, 2026

Welcome to Maison d’Amies. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of maisondamies.com and any related services, retreats, content, bookings, or experiences offered by Maison d’Amies (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing this website or booking a retreat, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use this site or our services.

1. Ownership & Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, imagery, branding, retreat descriptions, itineraries, photography, videos, and design elements, is the intellectual property of Maison d’Amies and protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. Content may not be copied, reproduced, or used for commercial purposes without prior written consent.

2. Use of Website

This website is provided for informational purposes only. While we strive for accuracy, we make no guarantees regarding completeness or timeliness. Use of the site is at your own risk.

3. Retreat Bookings, Payments & Deposits

By booking a retreat or placing a hold, you agree to pay all associated fees. Deposits, including hold deposits, are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing. Payment processing may be handled by third-party platforms, whose terms also apply.

4. Cancellation, Refund & Force Majeure Policy

All retreat cancellation and refund policies are outlined at the time of booking and are binding.

Maison d’Amies is not responsible for cancellations, changes, or interruptions due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to weather, natural disasters, strikes, government restrictions, pandemics, supplier cancellations, or acts of God (“Force Majeure”). No refunds will be issued for Force Majeure events; travel insurance is expected to cover eligible losses.

5. Travel Insurance (Required)

Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory for all guests.

Travel insurance must include, at minimum, coverage for:

  • Trip cancellation and interruption

  • Medical expenses and emergency evacuation

  • Travel delays and baggage loss

Guests are solely responsible for securing appropriate coverage. Failure to obtain insurance does not release you from financial responsibility or entitle you to refunds.

6. Assumption of Risk & Release of Liability

Participation in international travel and retreat experiences involves inherent risks, including but not limited to transportation, food consumption, physical activity, weather conditions, and third-party services.

By booking a retreat, you:

  • Voluntarily assume all associated risks

  • Release Maison d’Amies from liability for injury, illness, loss, damage, delays, or unforeseen events

  • Acknowledge that Maison d’Amies is not responsible for the acts or omissions of third-party vendors

7. Medical, Dietary & Accessibility Disclaimer

Maison d’Amies does not provide medical, therapeutic, or mental health services. Guests are responsible for:

  • Disclosing allergies, medical conditions, dietary restrictions, or mobility concerns

  • Ensuring they are physically and medically fit to travel

While we strive to accommodate needs when possible, we cannot guarantee all requests can be met.

8. Itinerary Changes

All itineraries are subject to change due to weather, safety concerns, vendor availability, or logistical needs. Comparable substitutions may be made without refund.

9. Code of Conduct & Right to Remove

Maison d’Amies Retreats are women-only and rooted in respect, inclusivity, and body positivity. Disruptive, discriminatory, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.

We reserve the right to remove any guest whose behavior negatively impacts the group experience. Removal may occur without refund.

10. Photography & Media Release

By attending a retreat, you grant Maison d’Amies permission to photograph or record you for marketing and promotional purposes. If you prefer not to be included, you must notify us in writing prior to the retreat.

11. Third-Party Links

This site may contain links to third-party platforms. Maison d’Amies is not responsible for their content, policies, or practices.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
